Call for Art: First Annual Holiday Show at Erica Popp Studios + Gallery
This will be the first annual holiday show at Erica Popp Studios + Gallery. We are looking for small, affordable, handmade items that are perfect for gift-giving. The show will be hung salon style, and customers will be able to take their purchases with them on the spot.
Commission: 70% to the artist, 30% to the gallery.
We will have special holiday hours during the run of the show, and several special events, including an opening reception on Friday, November 9, 5pm-8pm. Participating artists will have the opportunity to give a talk or demo. Depending on participation, some artwork may be kept in storage until more wall space is freed up.
Show will run November 9 - December 29.
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with 5 examples of the items you would like to sell, and please include prices. Images should be .jpg. High quality photos may be used to promote the show. Please send by Sunday, October 14. We will begin our artist selection on Monday, October 15, and will notify artists by October 20.
Delivery of work:
Accepted artists will need to deliver their work Monday, October 29 - Friday, November 2, 9am - Noon to Erica Popp Studios + Gallery at 3271 Roger Place, St. Louis, MO 63139. Please contact Erica before shipping work, or if you need to deliver work at another time. Please include a copy of the consignment form that you will receive in your acceptance email.
Pick up work:
We hope to sell all of your artwork, but unsold works will be available for pick up Wednesday, January 2 - Friday, January 4, 9am-Noon. Please contact Erica if you need a different pick-up day/time.
October 14 - Deadline to submit to show by email.
October 20 - Artist Notification
October 29 - First day for artwork delivery
November 2 - Last day to deliver artwork
January 2 - First day to pick up artwork.
January 4 - Last day to pick up artwork.
